Since 1997, equipment purchases have included emergency and operating room equipment, an x-ray unit, portable bedside monitors, and IV pumps. The Foundation purchased Glidescopes for EMS vehicles, orthopedic surgical tools, children's waiting room furniture, automated external defibrillators, a water purification system, and an integrated listening system for pediatric patients. More recently, the Foundation has begun the process of raising funds for a new hospital building. Contributions to the hospital include the use of designated donor advised funds.
The Lake Chelan Health & Wellness Foundation is dedicated to educating current and future healthcare professionals in its community. Since 1995, the Foundation has provided over $1.6 million for healthcare education to current and future caregivers in the Lake Chelan Valley from the investment income generated from a bequest of over $1 million by Edna Bragg. In 2019, 37 Lake Chelan Valley students pursuing advanced healthcare degrees and 34 local healthcare professionals received over $90,000 in healthcare education assistance.
In 2013, a child wellness program, "Club Max", was launched. Club Max inspires local youth to lead healthier lives, with a specific focus on fighting childhood obesity. Community wellness programs such as Diabetes Smackdown, Wellness Theatre, and school donations have also improved wellness in the schools and community.
