Regarding better business and consumer practices, the organization achieves this through media, seminars, and educational literature which is distributed to all members on a monthly basis. The literature is also available to non-members. The organization handles thousands of customer inquiries and complaints each year about business activities and scams and provides mediation, concilation, and arbitration services. The Organization provided education information and resources to our service area. The organization responded to inquiries and complaints by phone, through internet services and social media, provided dispute resolution services, made public speeches and media appearances and staffed consumer protection booths at various events.Advertising Review - the organization advocates truth in advertising in order to promote higher standards of responsibility in business practices and gain greater public confidence in businesses. To achieve this objection, the organization reviews all forms of advertising in the Snake River Region, and informs and educates the advertiser when there may be a violation of our standards.
