EDUCATION PROGRAM: IMUSA PROVIDED CHRIST CENTERED EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES TO APPROXIMATELY 100 INDIVIDUAL STUDENTS WHILE SUPPORTING 10 CLASSROOMS. A SMALL CLINIC STAFFED BY NORTH AMERICAN AND GUATEMALAN MEDICAL PERSONNEL IS ATTACHED TO ONE OF THE SCHOOLS WHICH PROVIDED GENERAL MEDICAL CARE TO STUDENTS, IMPROVING STUDENT HEALTH AND SCHOOL ATTENDANCE. A FEEDING PROGRAM IS INTEGRATED INTO THE EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM WHICH SERVED THAT SAME POPULATION OF STUDENTS, IMPROVING STUDENT HEALTH AND ABILITY TO PARTICIPATE IN EDUCATIONAL OUTCOMES. IN ADDITION A SMALL ORPHANAGE HAS BEEN ESTABLISHED TO CARE FOR SOME OF THE MOST VULNERABLE CHILDREN.

SHOR-TERM TEAM PROGRAM: 6 SHORT-TERM TEAMS AND 2 FIELDWORKERS ENGAGED IN MISSION WORK, BRINGING LIFE CHANGING HOPE THROUGH EVANGELISTIC AND SERVICE PROJECT OUTREACHES; AS WELL AS ENGAGING IN CROSS-CULTURAL, SPIRITUAL AWARENESS. ALSO, U.S. MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS PROVIDED MUCH NEEDED MEDICAL CARE TO STUDENTS AND THEIR FAMILIES, ASSISTING IN STUDENT AND COMMUNITY HEALTH AND WELLNESS.

SUPPORTING PROGRAMS ARE INTEGRATED INTO EDUCATIONAL AND SHORT-TERM TEAM PROGRAMS, PROVIDING MUCH NEEDED ASSISTANCE BEYOND THE SCOPE OF OUR EDUCATIONAL/DEVELOPMENT AND SHORT-TERM TEAM PROGRAMS. CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS, SUCH AS THE REBUILDING OF THE CHAMCHE SCHOOL AND SUPPLEMENTING THE FEEDING PROGRAM.
