CORE VALUES FOR THE HOME (CVH) - PARENTS' EDUCATION MATERIALS FOR CHARACTER EDUCATION FOR ELEMENTARY AGE CHILDREN. * New initiative began based on parents' request for more support for at-home character education for their elementary school age children. * 18 families are participating in this new initiative * Phase 2 - Parents began creating lesson plans in their homes to develop theme-based books * Regular meetings set up for participating parents to share best practices JUNIOR LEADERSHIP TASK FORCE (JR. LTF) LEADERSHIP PROGRAM FOR HIGH SCHOOL. * National calls with Jr. LTF challengers and members continued throughout the school year with monthly leadership themes such as striving for excellence, being goal oriented, teamwork, ownership, leading by example, etc. CORE VALUES FOR LIFE (CVL) - PROGRAMS FOR COLLEGE AGE AND YOUNG PROFESSIONALS. * Continued national video calls throughout the school year. Participants joined from New Jersey, Washington, Georgia, and Montana, California and Florida. * Held a 3-day summer workshop with the theme, "Building a Healthy Lifestyle, One Step at a Time". 85+ participants from Washington, New York, Delaware and Texas. * New Facebook group launched to build online community LEADERSHIP TASK FORCE (LTF) LEADERSHIP PROGRAM FOR COLLEGE AGE. * 10+ participants people joined the 1-year college-age leadership program YOUTH SUMMER WORKSHOPS * CVL Workshop held in June * Facilitator Training Workshop held in July * High School Character and Ethics Workshop held in July * Representative group of USA youth attended the International Youth Camp in Korea
SOUTH AMERICA: FPA-Peru in 2019: FPA-Peru continued various events and projects from 2018. FPA-Chile continued its education programs for youth throughout 2019. Meetings were held regularly with families and relatives. Some small celebrations on various occasions served to maintain unity and inspire the members. Payroll of representative from US to South America included in the expense.
NE Asia: South Korea: International Marriage Blessing Event * A Marriage dedication ceremony and 3-day course on marriage and family was held in Seoul, South Korea. Participants joined from over 8 different countries.
