Bible Translation work was done among the Kamano-Kafe, Guhu Samane, and Gadsup peoples of Papua New Guinea. The Kamano-Kafe completed the translation of Psalms, drafted ten Old Testament books, audio-recorded and distributed the recordings of seven of those ten recorded Old Testament books on solar powered audio Scripture players and micro SD cards.
Work began in 2019 on building a new vessel to serve the Bible translation work in Melanesia. Significant design work on the new vessel was completed in 2019.
Providing education to the children of Bible Translators is a key part of the success of a Bible translation project. In 2019, Tyndale Bible Translators successfully placed two teachers at Faith Academy in the Philippines to meet the need to teach missionary children.
