Organizations Filed Purposes:
The Institute for Family Development is dedicated to improving the lives of children, youth and families through the development, provision, evaluation, and dissemination of high quality, cost-effective, community based services and support.
IFD provided in-home family counseling and life skills services to 1,951 families having children at risk of placement into state custody. In delivering these services, IFD used $127995 in government pass through funds and private donation funds to alleviate basic family needs such as food, shelter, clothing, as well as assisting with school related needs. (See Schedule I).
IFD staff delivered training to over 750 employees of various governmental social service agencies and private social service providers on family preservation and related topics. The training staff delivered training and consultation visits to customers throughout the US and delivered training and consultation in Canada and Australia.
Evaluated quality standards and participated in projects designed to implement and refine quality measurements that will determine the effectiveness of treatment approaches and support program outcomes.
