The following Grants were made in support of educational programs in the United States and Foreign Countries: Designated Grants: Science Department at Woodstock School-----35,733 Funding the travel cost for students and staff to visit CERN in Geneva, Switzerland. Funding the purchase of equipment and teaching aids and for staff professional development. Archives at Woodstock School-----5,420 Funding to purchase new archive grade filing cabinets and storage racks to replace old cabinets to ensure the safety of information of historical value. Scholarship Grants-----13,500 Three Li Chu Endowed Scholarships were awarded to students who had successfully completed one semester or one quarter of studies in North America and whose financial resources had become insufficient to cover their tuition, fees and living expenses.
FWS provided continuing education programs, workshops and seminars on domestic and international education and world issues for alumni, staff, former staff and others.
