World Vets is an international veterinary aid organization. Our mission is to improve the health and well being of animals by providing veterinary aid, response, training and disaster relief worldwide. Our work includes companion animals, equids, livestock, marine animals etc.
World Vets provides veterinary aid programs and support in over 45 countries on 6 continents providing aid to tens of thousands of animals and the people and communities in which they live. Programs include spay/neuter, public health, street dog management through vaccination and sterilization, livestok programs, equine programs helping working horses and donkeys, disaster response/animal rescue, marine animal programs (including stranding response, rescue of sick, injured or stranded marine animals in the wild, research, protection & conservation). World Vets is also the veterinary NGO providing veterinarians for civil-military partnership humanitarian aid programs (Continuing Promise, Pacific Partnership, etc). Our work has a strong One Health focus. Through a largely volunteer workforce of highly skilled professionals, World Vets is able to leverage resources for maximum impact and sustainablility.
