Organizations Filed Purposes:
To provide sacred spaces to strengthen the minds and bodies of QTPIs - Queer and Trans Pacific Islanders - through community organizing, community care, civic engagement and cultrual stewardship.
Trans Justice - This program focuses on leadership development and providing services to aid queer and trans folks through case management, as well as economic and workforce development. This program also hosts clothing projects and transAction support social groups for queer and trans individuals who are engaged in or transitioning out of sex work.
Cultural Stewarship - UTOPIA aims to provide culturally competent and trauma informed services through work that focuses on issues affecting Pacific Islanders. We do this not only through workshops on health disparities and safety issues that abound those communities but also through dialogue sessions to improve connections between QTPIs and their communities. We also provide services around revitalizing Pasifika indigenous identities, language and customs that are meaningful to our communities.
The Pacific Islander Health Board of WA - The Pacific Islander Health Board seeks to cultivate resilience within our communities to achieve health equity through cultural safe and community driven solutions, traditions, and advocacy.
