Organizations Filed Purposes:
The Organization's mission is to promote social welfare by seeking to effect the liberation of consciousness in healthful and fluid relationship to self, other, and the natural world.
The Organization anticipates that grantmaking will be the primary means through which it will further its social welfare purposes and that it will focus on financially supporting:1) Social Causes social causes aimed at de-stigmatizing and helping individuals struggling outside of what society has determined to be the accepted norm, such as drug users and criminals. Applicant anticipates that this work will include criminal justice reform efforts and seeking an alternative to the war-on-drugs in addressing issues of drug use. 2) Environmental Initiatives environmental initiatives with high potential for reducing environmental wastes, such as carbon emissions and water and air pollution, and furthering conservation and preservation efforts. These efforts are likely to include supporting the green burial movement, advocating for the legalization of composting toilets, and protection of night skies from excess light pollution. 3) Indigenous Communities empowering native communities and helping them preserve and protect their traditions and culture. 4)Psycho-Spiritual Understanding efforts to better understand mental health and psychological experiences. The Organization anticipates that its grantmaking will consist largely of grants to Section 501(c)(3) or 501(c)(4) organizations and governmental entities, including tribal governments. To the extent the Organization makes grants to other types of organizations or to individuals, it will be pursuant to a written grant agreement documenting the specific purposes and uses to which the grantee may put the grant funds. In addition to its grantmaking, the Organization may further its social welfare purposes through educational outreach and advocacy efforts, such as: 1) Advocating for or against the passage of legislation relevant to Applicants areas of interest;2) Developing and disseminating educational materials relevant to Applicants areas of interest, and engaging in related research; 3) Social media activism in Applicants areas of interest; and 4) Building partnerships and coalitions with other individuals and organizations active in Applicants areas of interest.
