SKAHA's mission is building and sustaining the premier regional hockey program by providing quality education and training for the development and success of young people in hockey and life skills. We are building players for life!
Promotion of amateur hockey in accordance with accepted youth movement objectives, among which includes promoting physical skills, competition, teamwork, discipline, and respect for and reliance on authority.
SKAHA had record numbers of participants playing at the two facilities. The largest portion of this population plays Recreational (Rec) hockey, which allows them time to play other sports or participate in other activities. The remaining group plays Representative (Rep) hockey, which involves travel to Canada and other states in the United States. SKAHA offers programming for kids to learn to skate and play hockey and to be on teams to compete.
