IT IS THE MISSION OF THE DRUG ABUSE PREVENTION CENTER TO IMPACT THE LIVES OF CHRONIC ADDICTS AND THEIR FAMILIES, ASSISTING EACH PERSON IN BECOMING A CONTRIBUTING MEMBER OF THE COMMUNITY.
PROVIDED RESIDENTIAL AND OUTPATIENT DRUG AND ALCOHOL TREATMENT AND INTENSIVE CARE MANAGEMENT TO PATIENTS LIVING IN COWLITZ COUNTY WA AS WELL AS OTHER WASHINGTON COUNTIES. DURING 2014, THERE WERE 283 PATIENTS TREATED IN THE RESIDENTIAL PROGRAM LOCATED IN CASTLE ROCK, WA. THERE WERE 550 PATIENTS TREATED IN THE OUTPATIENT PROGRAM IN KELSO, WA, INCLUDING 96 WOMEN TREATED IN THE PREGNANT, POSTPARTUM PROGRAM. ALSO PROVIDED HOUSING, MENTAL HEALTH AND SUBSTANCE ABUSE TREATMENT AND OTHER SERVICES TO 18 FAMILIES CONSISTING OF SINGLE MOTHERS. DURING 2015, THE PROGRAM MERGED WITH ANOTHER ORGANIZATION AND THE FIRST SIX MONTHS ARE INCLUDED HEREIN.
