Organizations Filed Purposes: As servants of Christ and with the desire to lift up and empower Christians in the country of Nicaragua, Costa Rica and other Central American countries, Corner of Love Ministries seeks to comfort and care for God's children, elderly, and most impoverished through on-site medical/dental clinics and service projects.

To provide medical, dental and service work in Nicaragua, Costa Rica and other Latin American countries.

DONATED MEDICAL SUPPLIES: In 2019, Corner of Love expanded our mission field to include Colombia and Panama in addition to Costa Rica and Nicaragua, bringing prescription and over-the-counter medicine and other supplies valued at $1,335,363 to the four countries. These goods, which included anti-parasite regimens, dermatological treatments, antibiotics, multi-vitamins, neonatal kits, hydration and nutrition items, cold and pain remedies, and other pharmaceuticals, were procured in the U.S.A., where supporting churches, businesses, and individuals responded to Corner of Loves collection events, requests for in-kind donations, and grant solicitations. Twenty-one volunteer groups packed these items and brought them by air to the mission headquarters in Peas Blancas, where all supplies were organized for clinics in Latin America. 88% of the supplies were then distributed in Costa Rica, 10% in Nicaragua, 1% in Colombia, and 1% in Panama. Due to the ongoing socio-political crisis in Nicaragua and the existence of violent paramilitary groups in the northern region where Corner of Loves facilities are located, Corner of Love buildings in Nicaragua remained locked-down and all services in that nation were mobile. Records of 2019 activities showed that 17,007 migrants and refugees primarily from Venezuela, Nicaragua, and Cuba each received clothing, food, and transportation assistance. On average, each person received $78.52 USD worth of these donated medicines and supplies.

HEALTHCARE BRIGADES & PROGRAMS/MINISTRY: Native coordinators in 16 Latin American cities helped Corner of Love reach displaced families in numerous border towns and communities during 2019. Responding to the growing migration problem in the region, special attention was given to providing medical help and emergency food at country lines where massive influxes of people in need were taking place. Corner of Loves three biggest healthcare brigades assisted at the national boundaries of Cucuta, Colombia with Venezuela, Paso Canoa, Costa Rica with Panama, and Peas Blancas, Costa Rica with Nicaragua. Medical, dental, and optical services also continued at Corner of Loves Relief Center for Refugees in La Cruz, Guanacaste where thousands received free medical and dental examinations and procedures, eyeglasses, work-related training and equipment such as shoes and backpacks, and spiritual guidance.

SPONSORED FAMILIES: Due to the high level of danger surrounding our buildings in Nicaragua and patients inability to freely move about the nation during the prolonged crisis, Corner of Love continued to wind-down the family sponsorship program in Nicaragua. This assistance was shifted to new programs for Venezuelan, Cuban, and Nicaraguan exiles living throughout Latin America.
