Organizations Filed Purposes:
PROVIDE FOOD AND EMERGENCY SERVICES TO RESIDENTS IN OUR SERVICE AREA AND TO EDUCATE, EMPOWER AND ENGAGE OUR COMMUNITY IN SOLVING ISSUES OF HUNGER AND NUTRITION.
Food Bank services low income families living in Black Diamond, Covington, Hobart, Maple Valley, Ravensdale and within the Tahoma School District. For the fiscal year ending June 30, 2020, 1,436 unduplicated individuals visited the agency 38,049 times; we distributed 1,738,293 lbs of food.
Emergency Services was provided to low income families living in our service area. This program helps with utilities disconnect notices, bus passes, and eviction prevention. For the fiscal year ending June 30, 2020, emergency financial assistance was provided to 1,517 individuals.
