Organizations Filed Purposes:
Support Youth soccer and development to provide an environment for youth to learn discipline, leadership teamwork and sportsmanship.
For about 307 youth players who desire and qualify to play at a more competitive level of soccer for a longer period of the year, the Club coordinated and administered Select programs to youth mostly residing on Mercer Island. As part of the Programs, youth were taught teamwork, discipline and perseverence. The volunteer hours to handle the programs approximates 1500 hours.
For about 91 youth players who wanted to further develop their skill and understanding of the game, the Club coordinated and administered programs in the Fall and during the Winter, both for skill development and to maintain their skills in December when most teams take a month long break. The hours involved to handle the program is included with the Recreational Programs below.
