Organizations Filed Purposes:

FRIENDSHIP DIVERSION SERVICES CONTRACTS WITH CITIES AND COUNTIES TO PROVIDE SUPERVISION OF CRIMINAL DEFENDANTS WHO ARE DIVERTED AWAY FROM THE FORMAL JUSTICE SYSTEM. THE ORGANIATION COLLECTS RESTITUTION FOR VICTIMS, ASSIGNS AND MONITORS COMMUNITY SERVICES, RECEIVES EVALUATIONS AND TREATMENT RECOMMENDATIONS, PROVIDES EMPLOYMENT ASSISTANCE, COUNSELS AND REFERS TO COMMUNITY RESOURCES AND SUPERVISES THE DEFENDANT'S COMPLIANCE WITH THE ORDER OF THE COURT. SINCE 2008 FRIENDSHIP DIVERSION SERVICES HAVE PROVIDED ANOTHER ALTERNATIVE SENTENCE VIA ELECTRONIC HOME MONITORING OF CRIMINAL DEFENDENTS. FRIENDSHIP DIVERSION SERVICES OPERATES IN SEVEN COUNTIES IN WASHINGTON STATE.
