Organizations Filed Purposes:
The mission of our clubs is to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible, caring citizens.
CLUB CAPACITY BUILDING - GRANTS MADE TO MEMBER ORGANIZATIONS FOR PROGRAMMING IN SUPPORT OF CLUBS' THREE PRIORITY OUTCOMES OF ACADEMIC SUCCESS, HEALTHY LIFESTYLES, AND GOOD CHARACTER AND CITIZENSHIP. GRANTS WERE ALSO MADE TO ALLOW FOR PHYSICAL IMPROVEMENT OF CLUB FACILITIES, LAUNCH OF NEW PROGRAMS, SUPPORT OF GENERAL OPERATIONS, INCLUDING STAFFING, MEMBER NUTRITION, AND EXTENSIVE SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMS.
Youth of the Year--This character & citizenship program recognized 14 outstanding teens from across the state. These young people were provide a variety of educational and enrichment activities over two days then were interviewed by community leaders for the selection of the washington state youth of the year. participating teens also received college scholarships.
Keystone Summit ( Teen Conference)--Hosted and facilitated a teen conference for the 195 teens in november. Teens participated in sessions focused on volunteering, mental health, leadership and collaboration.
