Contract maintenance for members. This organization is a teachers association for the Central Kitsap School District. Activities include grievance processing, arbitration and representation for teachers at the state and national levels.
To promote the cause of public education on behalf of its members.
Presidents salary and benefits consist of paying our full-time release person the maximum amount on the salary schedule. Our full-time release president attends meetings and events and supervises membership issues.
Representative stipends consist of our bargaining team, grievance representatives for elementary and secondary schools, election chair, social chair, treasurer, liason for buildings and other small committee chairs.
National, state and local meetings and hospitality consist of travel costs and food for our representatives and members to attend meetings, socials and provide hospitality.
