To promote community sociability and honor local pioneers.
Bickleton Rodeo - An amateur rodeo is held annually. This event is attended by approximately 2,300 people, includes awards, prizes and a dance. In 2020, COVID-19 significantly reduced the rodeo activity.
An old fashioned carousel being restored and promoted during the rodeo days. The Alder Creek Pioneer Carousel Museum was completed in 2007 which is used to house the carousel horses for all to view when they are not working during the annual rodeo.
Memorial services are held to honor Bickleton pioneer families.
