Organizations Filed Purposes:
Partner in Employment (PIE) works to guarantee the long-term economic stability of newly arrived refugees and immigrants in King County by providing tailored assistance in language acquisition, housing stabilization, workforce entry and job training in higher-wage industries.
All Others: In general, the organization served 569 households and 932 individuals across all our programs; 42 students enrolled in English classes; 67 youth/young adults received case management, mentoring and career navigation; conducted 97 know your rights training; provided transportation assistance to 181 individuals; trained 431 individuals on job readiness and labor law; and assisted 157 individuals with job placements.
Best Starts For Kids- Homeless Prevention: The organization served 88 households containing 323 individuals; provided 27 households and 127 individuals with rental assistance to prevent them from becoming homeless.
United Way- Poverty Reduction: We trained 431 individuals on job readiness and labor standard practices to empower and prepare individuals for entering the workforce. Of the 322 individuals actively searching for work, PIE assisted with 157 job placements.
