Organizations Filed Purposes: SEATTLE CHRISTIAN SCHOOLS (SCS) IS COMMITTED TO PROVIDING A PREMIER, CHRIST-CENTERED EDUCATION FOR K-12 STUDENTS. BLESSED WITH A LEGACY OF OVER 70 YEARS OF GOD'S PROVISION AND LEADING, STUDENTS BENEFIT FROM AN UNPARALLELED EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCE. WE OFFER TOP-RATED ACADEMICS, EXCEPTIONAL ATHLETIC PROGRAMS, FINE AND PERFORMING ARTS AND BROAD CO-CURRICULAR PROGRAMS. APPROXIMATELY 95% OF OUR GRADUATES PURSUE HIGHER EDUCATION BEYOND HIGH SCHOOL. THE FACULTY AND STAFF OF SEATTLE CHRISTIAN ARE DEDICATED TO PROVIDING RIGOROUS, RELEVANT INSTRUCTION GROUNDED IN MEANINGFUL, CHRIST-CENTERED RELATIONSHIPS WITH STUDENTS. SEATTLE CHRISTIAN SCHOOL SERVES APPROXIMATELY 300 FAMILIES AND 500 STUDENTS, KINDERGARTEN THROUGH 12TH GRADE, FROM OVER 25 DIFFERENT PUGET SOUND COMMUNITIES. THE ELEMENTARY AND SECONDARY SCHOOLS ARE BOTH CONVENIENTLY LOCATED ON OUR THIRTEEN-ACRE CAMPUS IN SEATAC. SEATTLE CHRISTIAN SCHOOL OFFERS OUTSTANDING PROGRAMS, ATHLETICS, FINE AND PERFORMING ARTS AND ACTIVITIES THAT ENHANCE ACADEMICS WITH OPPORTUNITIES TO COMPETE IN SELECT LOCAL, REGIONAL AND STATE COMPETITIONS. THIS ALSO INCLUDES LOCAL, U.S. AND INTERNATIONAL MISSIONS AND SERVICE PROJECTS WHICH ENHANCE AND STRENGTHEN STUDENTS' CHRISTIAN SCHOOL EXPERIENCE.ACADEMIC HIGHLIGHTS: 95% OF THE CLASS OF 2020 PURSUED HIGHER EDUCATION AND THE CLASS OF 37 STUDENTS WERE OFFERED AN IMPRESSIVE $2.9 MILLION IN COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIPS. THE NATIONAL MERIT SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM RECOGNIZED ONE SENIOR FOR ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE, (COMMENDED STUDENT). SEATTLE CHRISTIAN STUDENTS' PERFORMANCE ON THE SCHOLASTIC ACHIEVEMENT TEST (SAT) REFLECTS THEIR ACADEMIC ACCOMPLISHMENTS. STUDENTS OUTPERFORMED THE NATIONAL AND STATE SCORES.ATHLETIC HIGHLIGHTS: SEATTLE CHRISTIAN OFFERS COMPETITIVE ATHLETIC PROGRAMS AT BOTH THE MIDDLE SCHOOL AND HIGH SCHOOL LEVEL IN CROSS COUNTRY, VOLLEYBALL, BASKETBALL, CHEER, TRACK AND FIELD, GOLF, SOFTBALL AND BASEBALL. ONE CROSS COUNTRY ATHLETE WAS RECOGNIZED AS A STATE QUALIFIER. MOST ATHLETIC SEASONS WERE CUT SHORT OR DID NOT OCCUR DUE TO COVID. SCIENCE AND STEM HIGHLIGHTS: HIGH SCHOOL ROBOTICS BEGAN SUCCESSFUL COMPETITIONS, BUT HAD A SHORTENED SEASON DUE TO COVID.FINE AND PERFORMING ARTS HIGHLIGHTS: SEATTLE CHRSITIAN OFFERS JAZZ BAND, CONCERT BAND, CHOIRS, THEATER, AND MANY FINE ART CLASSES. COMPETITIONS IN THESE AREAS WERE CANCELLED DUE TO COVID.SCS DEMONSTRATES EFFECTIVE COMMUNICTION TO FAMILIES AND THE SCHOOL COMMUNITY THROUGH THE FOLLOWING PUBLICATIONS, MARKETING PLATFORMS AND SOCIAL MEDIA: SEATTLE CHRISTIAN SCHOOL WEBSITE, SCEPTER MAGAZINE (QUARTERLY), SEATTLE CHRISTIAN SCHOOL AT A GLANCE FLYER, K-12 MARKETING BROCHURES AND FACEBOOK.
