Neighborhood revitalization and community economic development within the Pioneer Square district of Seattle
Program accomplishments include the following: robust neighborhood promotion via website, social media, advertising campaign, Pioneer Square Map & Guide, and the implementation of a historic walking tour. Under our public realm work we hosted a Spring Clean event, addressed graffiti throughout the neighborhood all year long, and conducted technical assistance for businesses regarding waste disposal. Our business development program conducted technical assistance throughout the year, actively recruited new businesses into the district, and launched work around use of neglected properties in Pioneer Square.
