THE PROJECT WAS CALLED THE NORTHEAST BDR (NEBDR)AND IT INVOLVED CREATING A WATERPROOF MAP OF THE ROUTE, PRODUCING A FEATURE- LENGTH DOCUMENTARY FILM, AND COMPLETE TRAVEL RESOURCE INFORMATION ON THE WEBSITE, WWW.RIDEBDR.COM. BDR CONDUCTED A CONTINUED SCOUTING AND PLANNING FOR UPCOMING BDR ROUTES - THE WYOMING BDR AND OTHER ROUTES. THE ORGANIZATION CARRIED OUT A FUNDRAISING EVENT IN BORREGO SPRINGS, CA, AND A COMMUNITY FUNDRAISING DRIVE IN JULY. THE ORGANIZATION WORKED WITH A CREATIVE AD AGENCY TO UPDATE THE WEBSITE WITH NEW INFORMATION AND OFFER CURRENT PLANNING INFORMATION TO VISITORS, INCLUDING NEW DIGITAL MAPS, AND CONTINUED MARKETING THE BDR BRAND IN MAGAZINES AND ON SOCIAL MEDIA. THE ORGANIZATION PARTNERED WITH THE INTERNATIONAL MOTORCYCLE SHOWS (IMS) TO HOST THE ADVENTURE OUT SECTION AT ALL 8 SHOWS IN THE 2019-2020 CIRCUIT, HOSTING EXHIBITOR BOOTHS, DOING PRESENTATIONS AND OFFERING A BDR VIRTUAL REALITY EXPERIENCE TO ATTENDEES. THE ORGANIZATION CONDUCTED A NATIONAL SWEEPSTAKES FUNDRAISER, USING A BACKCOUNTRY DISCOVERY ROUTES MOTORCYCLE DONATED TO THE ORGANIZATION BY KTM OF NORTH AMERICA, INC. THE ORGANIZATION DEVELOPED A FRAMEWORK FOR ITS ACCESS AND ADVOCACY INITIATIVE, COMMITTING TO ALLOCATE ANNUAL FUNDS TO OTHER NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS THAT HELP CARRY OUT THE BDR MISSION. BDR CONTINUED CARRYING OUT ITS SAFETY INITIATIVES, INCLUDING THE RIDERIDE AND RIDE RESPECTFULLY CAMPAIGNS THROUGH PSA'S, MARKETING COLLATERAL, AND ON SOCIAL MEDIA. BDR ALSO IMPLEMENTED AN OUTREACH CAMPAIGN TO MARKET THE BDR ROUTES TO EUROPEAN AND INTERNATIONAL RIDERS, INCLUDING PROMOTING 'TURN-KEY' MOTORCYCLE ITINERARIES IN DESTINATION STATES, AND MARKETING U.S TOUR OPERATORS AND RENTAL COMPANIES OFFERING SERVICES ON THE BDR'S TO EUROPEAN RIDERS. THE ORGANIZATION IMPLEMENTED NEW GRAPHICS AND PLANNED EVENTS TO CELEBRATE ITS 10-YEAR ANNIVERSARY. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO BECAME A 501C(3) IN 2019.
