Organizations Filed Purposes: To promote the preservation and enhancement of the historic heritage of the Seattle area, and to support the activities of the Historic Seattle Preservation and Development Authority.

Supported the efforts of Historic Seattle PDA which used the funds towards its mission: Saving meaningful places to foster lively communities.

Historic Seattle offered a variety of tours, lectures and activities. Tours included the Louisa Hotel in Seattle's Chinatown-International District, the "Making of Queer Seattle" tour in Pioneer Square, the George Matzen house in the Queen Anne neighborhood, and the "Plates, Pours and Preservation" tour in Georgetown. Lectures included "Seattle's Historic Theaters" presented by Larry Kreisman and "Prairie School and the Pacific Northwest" presented by Richard Kronick. In addition to these programs, Historic Seattle led a bike tour from Ballard to the University of Washington, held our 5th Annual Apple Tasting event, and offered a historic windows restoration workshop. Free quarterly members meetings brought the public to the Showbox, the University Masonic Lodge, King Street Station, and Mt. Zion Baptist Church.
