Organizations Filed Purposes: The LSA mission is to create a learning environment, in partnership with the parents and John Stanford International School that respects and honors the whole child, fosters social skill development and growth and provides experiential learning opportunities in a safe, engaging and culturally inclusive manner.

To provide licensed child care before and after school and during school breaks to the students of John Stanford International School.

Latona School Associates creates and sustains a learning environment, in partnership with families and JSIS, which respects and honors the whole child, provides familiarity and comfort in uncertain times, and retains the LSA trademarks of providing rich opportunities for social-emotional and experential learning in a culturally inclusive atmosphere. The organization continued to provide excellent childcare service and a variety of enrichment programs. It continues to participate in the Seattle School District alignment initiative, whereby the school district offers free rent to organizations that conform to certain learning and alignment standards. Additionally, it participates in the Program Quality Initiative, partnering with Schools Out Washington and funded by the City of Seattle, by which LSA engages in annual assessment, coaching and training in the areas of staff development and organization best practice. Prior to school closure 3/14/2020 LSA served 182 students.

The organization held a summer program, serving 89 students for six weeks. The program included field trips, weekly themes encompassing the city, the environment and the Pacific Northwest.
