Organizations Filed Purposes:
Music Instruction: Music Center provides individual and group instruction to students of all ages and abilities. Individual instruction is offered for harp, koto, piano, music theory/composition and all brass, woodwind and string instruments. Group classes are offered for Choirs, Music Together, Jazz Combos, Orchestra, Saxophone Ensembles and Suzuki Violin. Royal Conservatory Certification is also available. In 2019-2020 Music Center saw record enrollment with over 600 participants each week.
Outreach: Music Center provides Outreach instruction to over 80 students at Broadview Thomson K-8 and Lake Forest Park Elementary. Outreach is offered to the schools music teachers to help them supplement classroom instruction with specialized instrumental instruction. In 2019-2020, we provided 33 classroom hours of free instruction.
Emerald City Womans Choir: The choir is a non-audition chorus that provides a fun, easy-going, and welcoming community for all women who love to sing, simply for the joy of it. We are a supportive community of singers who sing a mix of 3- and 4-part music from a variety of genres, including contemporary, classical, folk and rock n roll.
