Organizations Filed Purposes:
To protect and promote every persons right to access the full range of reproductive healthcare choices in Washington State, including safe and legal abortion, through education, advocacy, lobbying and coalition-building
Advocacy NARAL WA works closely with coalition partners, organizers and membership to identify the key barriers to reproductive freedom in Washington, to develop a slate of legislative priorities, and to lobby for the passage and implementation of critical legislation. We conduct lobbying training and provide tools to members so they can take direct action with lawmakers to advance reproductive freedom across the state and we work with leaders at the state and municipal level to pass laws and policies that expand and protect access to reproductive freedom for everybody.
Research Education - NARAL Pro-Choice Washington conducts research and provides education and training on a variety of topics related to reproductive healthcare and reproductive justice. Specific activities under this service area include formal and informal research, collecting and curating stories, and developing and delivering trainings, webinars, and other types of educational material.
