IN 2019, 942 CHILDREN AND FAMILIES PARTICIPATED IN NEIGHBORHOOD HOUSE EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION SERVICES.
HOUSING STABILITY, FAMILY SUPPORT AND COMMUNITY HEALTH: PROVIDES SOCIAL AND FAMILY SERVICES TO LOW-INCOME INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES IN SEATTLE AND KING COUNTY. SERVICES INCLUDE CASE MANAGEMENT, FINANCIAL COUNSELING, CITIZENSHIP CLASSES AND APPLICATION ASSISTANCE, EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE SERVICES, HOMELESSNESS PREVENTION AND HOUSING STABILITY SERVICES, OUTREACH FOR SENIORS AND PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES, LONG TERM MEDICAID CASE MANAGEMENT, FAMILY CAREGIVER SUPPORT, AND COMMUNITY HEALTH SERVICES. IN 2019, NEIGHBORHOOD HOUSE ACHIEVED THE FOLLOWING RESULTS: 2,762 COMMUNITY MEMBERS RECEIVED CASE MANAGEMENT FOR MULTIPLE SERVICES; 1,460 COMMUNITY MEMBERS RECEIVED REFERRALS TO EXTERNAL SERVICES AND RESOURCES; 1,500+ COMMUNITY MEMBERS ATTENDED HEALTH FAIRS IN THEIR NEIGHBORHOODS.
EMPLOYMENT, EDUCATION AND YOUTH ENGAGEMENT: PROVIDES EMPLOYMENT AND EDUCATION SERVICES FOR ADULTS AND PREPARES YOUTH FOR ACADEMIC AND CAREER SUCCESS. ADULTS ACCESS WRAP AROUND CASE MANAGEMENT, JOB-SEARCH COACHING, JOB PLACEMENT AND RETENTION/ADVANCEMENT SUPPORT, AND CAREER TRAINING SERVICES. YOUTH PROGRAMMING INCLUDES CASE MANAGEMENT, DRUG AND ALCOHOL PREVENTION PROGRAMS, VOCATIONAL TRAINING AND CAREER PATHWAYS FOR OUT-OF-SCHOOL JOB SEEKERS, AND ACADEMIC RE-ENGAGEMENT, SOCIAL-EMOTIONAL SKILLS-BUILDING, TUTORING AND ENRICHMENT PROGRAMS. IN 2019, NEIGHBORHOOD HOUSE ACHIEVED THE FOLLOWING RESULTS: 158 COMMUNITY MEMBERS PARTICIPATED IN SPECIALIZED VOCATIONAL TRAINING; 245 COMMUNITY MEMBERS RECEIVED ASSISTANCE WITH LONG-TERM JOB PLACEMENT; 317 YOUNG PEOPLE ATTENDED AFTERSCHOOL CENTERS; 174 YOUNG PEOPLE PARTICIPATED IN SUMMER PROGRAMS.
