Provides performances that enliven, enrich, entertain and educate members and audiences alike. Members are energized by an environment that fosters bonds of community, serving and respecting people of all ages, cultures and ethnic groups.
NWAA successfully completed its 35th concert season. The Annual Dinner/Auction raised more than $40,000 in its twelfth iteration in early February. The Covid-19 pandemic hit NWAA hard, and the organization was forced to cancel all its events planned for March through June 2020. Artistic Director Dr. Ryan Ellis completed his sixth year with our adult chorus, and continues to develop the musical skills of the ensemble Supported 4 adults and 6 youth with full or partial scholarships for their participation in our events. Provided approximately 120 free tickets for young people to our Mainstage Burien concerts.
