Organizations Filed Purposes:
The OVPTA provides financial and volunteer support while building community so our students are challenged to reach their full intellectual, social, emotional and physical potential and to develop as thoughtful citizens.
During the fiscal year ending 6/30/2019, the OVPTA provided the following with our 160 members:1. Provided After School Enrichment Programs (~ 150 students participated in 3 quarters of after school programs, with each quarter offering ~11 classes)2. Produced The Little Mermaid drama production (3 performances with ~800 tickets sold)3. Produced the annual yearbook (~350 yearbooks distributed)4. Provided art enrichment including smART Fridays for all grades, field trips and school events associated with the ArtsWA grant, an art docent program, and a choir program, and an evening Arts Night5. Provided mini-grants and a greater financial grant to the elementary school6. Coordinated the annual field day7. Provided mini-grants to teachers for supplies and equipment8. Held many social events to bring our community together (including the Fall Carnival, Ice Cream Social, Movie Nights, Hootenanny (student talent night), and the Multi-Cultural Potluck.
