PSCS was founded in 1994 on the belief that young people thrive when provided a supportive environment, are encouraged to pursue their passions, and are guided in following their intrinsic motivation to learn.
Puget Sound Community School is an independent secondary school whose mission is to help students turn passion into achievement. PSCS asks students to dedicate themselves to 3 Core Commitments: Practice Integrity. Engage the Community. Act with Courage.
The central education purpose of PSCS is to help young people discover and follow their passions while becoming thoughtful, sincere, and respectful global citizens. PSCS students learn to become self-directed and to develop a sense of self. Our proram is built on hleping them discover their strengths and passions, and transform these into meanginful achievements. During the 2018-19 school year, 50 students attended PSCS.
