Organizations Filed Purposes:
Cultivates the academic potential and leadership skills of underrepresented students of color. By creating access to opportunities and holistic support, we increase college graduation rates and empower new generations of leaders.
Academic and leadership development program designed to increase college access and graduation rates among low-income students of color, many of whom are first-generation college students, and build and support the next generation of diverse career and community leaders.
Academic Counseling (AC) We met the challenges of a global pandemic and an urgent social justice movement by increasing our scholar support and enhancing our community building efforts. This included technology help, emergency funds, study sessions, and mental health support.
Academic Enrichment/Recruitment (AEP) - We recruited our 19th cohort of scholars. When schools closed due to Covid-19, we pivoted to providing online academic enrichment and support. Scholars achieved 91% placement on college prep pathways as rising 6th graders.
Leadership and Career Development (LCD) - Early career exposure through teen exploration workshops and meaningful summer opportunities, including 75 internship placements and leadership workshops. High school seniors achieved 95% admission to four year colleges.
