Rwanda Partners works to improve the lives of the poor and marginalized in Rwanda through economic and educational programs.
Reconciliation - Through our team of experienced and dedicated reconciliation ministers, Rwanda Partners is working to bring healing and reconciled relationships to the people of the Bugesera region of Rwanda both victims and perpetrators (Each member of this team is a survivor of the genocide or repentant perpetrator who have personally experienced healing and reconciliation in their own lives.) This is done primarliy through 3-day relation workshops that explore the dynamics of hatred and conflict and unresolved issues that are blocked forgiveness and repentance. Perpetrators and victims/survivors who are open to reconciliation are invited to attend these workshops in their communities.Wirira Widows Ministry - The Wirira Widows Association is a group of women all of whome are widows and victims of violence during the gonocide. The Wirira Widows care for hundreds of children in addition to providing for their own needs. Rwanda Partners provides monthly support to women who are too physically and emotionally traumatized to work.
