Sahar Education (Sahar) partners with the Ministry of Education and other Afghan-based organizations to build schools and create educational opportunities for girls in Afghanistan, empowering and inspiring children and their families to build peaceful and thriving communities.
In 2020, Sahar continued construction of the first public boarding school for girls. When Phase One is complete, 156 girls from rural Balkh Province will attend the school, offering a safer educational option. The school is on the campus of a well-known and well-respected school for girls.
