Horticultural and cultural festivals, educational programs on traditional and contemporary Chinese culture and society, docent tours for community organizations.

Traditional Sichuan-style Garden: The Garden serves the community through a dual focus on nature and culture. It celebrates Seattles rich Chinese heritage and increases understanding of China as an important global and regional partner in the areas of cultural exchange, education, and business. The 5-acre park-like garden site is open to the public seven days a week, free of charge. Docent-led tours are available for community and educational organizations.

The festival offers cultural entertainment, talks and demonstrations on plant care, plant and craft sales, and educational displays emphasizing the importance of peonies and bamboo in Chinese arts and cultural traditions.

All others: A World Tai Chi and Qigong Day in April, a tea demonstration in June, a West Seattle Chamber of Commerce event in June, a Car Show in August, and a Qi-Pao event in September.
