SEWARD PARK CLAY STUDIO'S MISSION IS TO PROMOTE THE GROWTH OF THE CERAMIC ARTS BY PROVIDING A BROAD RANGE OF EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS, EVENTS AND STUDIO OPPORTUNITIES FOR ARTISTS, IN A COMMUNITY CLAY ARTS FACILITY.
TO PROMOTE THE GROWTH OF THE CERAMIC ARTS.
WE PROVIDE CLASSES AND WORKSHOPS FOR OVER 250 STUDENTS, SOME WHO ENROLL IN MULTIPLE QUARTERS. THIS INCLUDES HUNDREDS OF HOURS OF OPEN STUDIO TIME, WHERE STUDENTS HAVE ACCESS TO A FULLY EQUIPPED CERAMIC STUDIO.
WE PROVIDE RESIDENCIES FOR OVER 20 CERAMICS ARTISTS EACH YEAR, GIVING THEM STUDIO SPACE, ACCESS TO ALL FACILITIES AND MATERIALS, AND OPPORTUNITIES TO EXHIBIT WORK AND HAVE THEIR ARTISTRY PROMOTED AND CELEBRATED.
WE PROMOTE THE GROWTH OF THE CERAMIC ARTS BY PRODUCING AND DIRECTING SHOWS, BOTH AT SEWARD PARK CLAY STUDIO AND THROUGHOUT THE CITY OF SEATTLE. WE EXHIBIT THE WORK OF OVER 100 CERAMIC ARTISTS.
