Produced the 14th Annual National Film Festival for Talented Youth (NFFTY) and other events for the promotion and education of young media artists. The 14th NFFTY drew attendance of 2,500 from October 23-November 1, 2020, and was presented entirely virtually to a global audience. Presented 234 films from 26 US states and 29 countries, with over 300 filmmakers participating. Juried competitions increased to 11 categories, with films presented in 32 showcases all eligible for audience awards. We included 20 professional development events/workshops/panels, a significant increase over 2019. Throughout the year, The Talented Youth produced multiple events with other nonprofit and community partners, and expanded virtual programs and competitions that were free and safe for youth to participate.
