Organizations Filed Purposes: Building and donating wheelchairs and other aids for the disabled in NIgeria

We raise money to build wheelchairs for polio survivors in Nigeria and provide other aids for the disabled there.

Grants were given to Beautiful Gate Handicapped Peoples Center in Jos, Nigeria. The 45 employees in the shop built 2614 tricycle-type hand-pedaled wheelchairs which were donated to polio survivors. They also gave out 64 regular wheelchairs, 184 walkers and walking sticks, 183 pairs of crutches and 40 white canes to the blind. During the COVID lock downs they gave out 3400 sacks of food to the disabled and gave 1000 sacks of fertilizer to widows and orphans whose husbands or parents had been killed in Fulani massacres. They gave many sacks of beans, rice and other foodstuffs to the 350 students at the Plateau School for the Deaf.
