Sponsorship of Education for 64 Students in the Rural School run by Purkal Youth Development Society (PYDS) a registered charitab le Society located in village Purkal, Uttara Khand, India. The School & PYDS work for the betterment of the society in the scope of Pri mary, Middle and High School education of the youth and does not discriminate it's intake based on caste, creed, race or religion. The school provides quality education and holistic care for 553 students(predominantly girls) drawn from 50 villages from the upper reaches of Himalayas. The school covers Grade I-XII and caters to deeply needy and underprivileged families. This is done through a combination of high-quality academics, adequate nutrition, health care, and full exposure to co-curricular areas, at no cost to them A Grant of USD $70,000 was made to the PYDS school on May 03 2020 for sponsoring of 64 needy youth coming from utter poverty to cover Scholastics, Co-Scholastics, Nutrition, Transport, Uniforms, Medical care etc.
A Second Grant of USD $21,500 was made to the PYDS school on Sep 14, 2020 for sponsoring of 20 needy youth coming from utter poverty to cover Scholastics, Co-Scholastics, Nutrition, Transport, Uniforms, Medical care etc.
A grant of USD $2,000 was made to the PYDS school on Sep 14, 2020 for renovation of the schools Kitchen which caters to 553 youth who are direct beneficiaries of the schools free education and nutrition program. Another grant of $500 was given on Sept 14, 2020 for covis relief package for 30 families. The package contain dry ration, sanitary pads, masks and stationery.
