Zeno's mission is to build young childrens early math skills by equipping families with fun and engaging tools to create the math foundation needed for a future of limitless opportunity. We focus on serving families of color in low-income communities through partnerships with community-based organizations and early learning programs.
Zeno envisions a world in which everyone believes they can do math. The confidence to use math skills in everyday life is essential to acquiring and maintaining the basic economic, political, and social resources we all need to live our fullest lives. We know that every family wants the best future possible for their child, but not every family has the same experience navigating the early math arena. Zenos Family MathWays program takes a family-centered, community-by-community approach to uplifting families as their childs first and most important math teacher. Through the Family MathWays program, Zeno engages families, caregivers and early childcare providers in fun, playful activities that build foundational early math concepts, shape mindsets, and provide access to learning resources for use in the home. We layer math onto existing programs that serve families of color with young children in low-income communities.
Zenos Family MathWays program engages families, caregivers and early childcare providers in fun, playful activities that build foundational early math concepts, shape mindsets, and provide access to learning resources for use in the home. Zeno works with trusted, community-based partners to distribute math games to families and host community math events. The Family MathWays program initially began serving 250 families in 2016 and has grown to reach over 2,000 families currently.
