Organizations Filed Purposes: PERFORMING ARTS INSPIRATION FOR ALL GENERATIONS. YOUTH EDUCATION, FAMILY ENGAGEMENT, AND COMMUNITY CONNECTIONS.

TO INSPIRE, EDUCATE, AND ENGAGE YOUTH AND FAMILIES THROUGH COMMUNITY THEATER.

MAIN STAGE SHOWS: THREE FAMILY-FRIENDLY MUSICAL THEATER PRODUCTIONS PRESENTED TO THE KITSAP COUNTY COMMUNITY, BENEFITTING OVER 250 ACTORS, ACTRESSES, PRODUCTION STAFF, AND VOLUNTEERS, AS WELL AS 5,000 PATRONS. WE CAST FAMILIES IN PRODUCTIONS AND RECRUIT RELATIVES TO HELP WITH LIGHTING, SOUND, COSTUMES, AND SET DESIGN. OUR CORE FOCUS IS ON STREANGTHENING INTERGENERATIONAL BONDS ON-STAGE AND OFF-STAGE WHILE BUILDING CONFIDENCE, SKILLS AND VALUES IN LOCAL YOUTH.

SUMMER CAMP WORKSHOPS: THREE 2-WEEK WORKSHOPS FROM JUNE TO AUGUST 2019, BENEFITTING 180 YOUTH AGES 4 TO 18, PRODUCTION STAFF, AND VOLUNTEERS. IN OUR "RISING STARS" SUMMER DRAMA PROGRAMS, EACH 2-WEEK CAMP OFFERS STUDENTS A FOCUSED OPPORTUNITY TO LEARN, CREATE AND GROW - NOT JUST IN THEATRE, BUT ALSO IN VISUAL ARTS, WRITING, PUBLIC SPEAKING, AND TEAMWORK. CAMPS WERE OFFERED IN PARTNERSHIP WITH CENTRAL KITSAP SCHOOL DISTRICT & OLYMPIC COLLEGE. CURRICULUM INTEGRATES HANDS-ON LEARNING EXPERIENCES IN SET DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION, LIGHTING AND SOUND SCIENCE, THEATER MANAGEMENT, AND MARKETING, AND RELATED TECHNICAL FIELDS. THIS PROGRAM ALSO OFFERS INTERNSHIPS TO CULTIVATE A NEW GENERATION OF LEADERSHIP IN THE PERFORMING ARTS. THIS PROGRAM ALSO OFFERS SMALL GRANTS TO INDIVIDUAL PARTICIPANTS WHO REQUEST FINANCIAL AID.

THEATRE ACADEMY WORKSHOPS: ONE AFTER-SCHOOL PROGRAM FOR CENTRAL KITSAP SCHOOL DISTRICT STUDENTS, BENEFITTING 70 STUDENTS, AS WELL AS PRODUCTION STAFF AND VOLUNTEERS. THIS AFTER-SCHOOL PROGRAM OFFERS PERFORMING ARTS OPPORTUNITIES FOR LOCAL STUDENTS DURING THE SCHOOL YEAR, OVERCOMING TRANSPORTATION AND COST BARRIERS.
