THE ORGANIZATION SEEKS TO EDUCATE CHILDREN USING WALDORF EDUCATION BASED ON A HUMANISTIC APPROACH TO PEDAGOGY BASED UPON THE EDUCATIONAL PHILOSOPHY OF THE AUSTRIAN PHILOSOPHER RUDOLF STEINER, THE FOUNDER OF ANTHROPOSOPHY. THIS IS DONE IN CONJUNCTION WITH MINDFUL PARENTING.
Windsong School served a diverse student body of 148 students in the 2019-2020 school year. Our faculty and staff roster included 15 full and part-time lead teachers and 8 support staff. Our Tuition Affordability Program enabled 50 low income students to enroll in our school. Our extended school community raised a record amount for the school for our Annual Giving Campaign. We are proud to have hosted a professional development conference free of charge for our faculty and staff and invited colleagues from surrounding Waldorf and Waldorf-inspired schools. We also hosted our first ever kickball tournament fundraiser and graduated our second class of students.
