Organizations Filed Purposes: To connect people with birds, other wildlife, and their habitats through education, conservation, and recreation.

Conserve, restore and steward irreplaceable natural resources throughout Pierce County. We do this through; restoring Urban Habitats through volunteer stewardship activities at Adriana Hess Wetland Park, Deadmans Pond and Thelma Gilmur Park, protecting Biodiversity Management Areas (BMAs) across Pierce County; engaging volunteers in Citizen Science projects and other conservation activities.

Developing and offering year-round, family based, nature education programs to involve youth, family and seniors in the discovery and protection of native habitat throughout Pierce County. Hold community events and workshops to help engage and inform our community on key environmental needs.

Connecting people with nature through membership activities including field trips, membership programs, bi-monthly print newsletter, two monthly electronic Newsletters and social media and print media materials
