Organizations Filed Purposes:
Washington Masonic Charities mission is to create a culture of philantropy to invest in youth and education, provide comfort and support for seniors and those in need, and to preserve and share the Masonic heritage of Washington.
Outreach Services: This program provides information and referral, case management, care coordination services, emergency needs assistance to help adults and those in need live independently in their homes or in long-term care. 575 clients were served, 2,365 services were provided and 2,050 service hours were conducted during the period.
Library and Museum: This program provides public and virtual access to the Washington Masonic Library and Museum, its exhibits, and its collection of thousand of objects, archival materials, books and images. 576 people visited in person, and 9,350 unique online visitors accessed the web site.
Youth Programs: This program provides youth civility and safety education, reading incentive programs, assistance for disadvantaged youth and youth experiencing homelessness to be successful in school, and scholarships for youth to attend college. 540 youth were served, and 8 scholarships were awarded.
