Autism Empowerment is devoted to enriching and empowering the lives of youth and adults on the autism spectrum and their families. We promote a culture of Autism Acceptance and Empowerment and believe every one of us have gifts and strengths to share with the world. We offer a wide range of educational programs and support services for Autistic communities. We work toward the day that every person has the support and resources needed to lead a fulfilling life.

Spectrum Life Magazine is a print and online magazine serving autism communities in Washington and Oregon. Each quarterly issue reaches about 25,000 - 30,000 readers in the Northwest. The magazine is also available online and has readers nationally and worldwide. Our Autistic led publication is written for the autistic and autism communities with topics in the featured areas of Advocacy, Recreation, Education, Health & Wellness, Lifespan and Therapy. An average issue is 48 pages and includes 13 - 15 articles, additional content online through our SpectrumLife.org, AutismEmpowerment.org and AutismEmpowermentPodcast.org websites. Supplemental content includes blog articles, extended interviews, our Autism Empowerment Podcast, educational videos, a resource directory and events calendar.
Community Enrichment Program - This program name is an umbrella for all our support groups and services which take place in the Southwest Washington and Portland, OR metro area. This includes multiple autism support groups, autism social groups, special community events, resource referral and exhibition, training for families and educators, as well as general community support via email, phone, video or in-person meetings. Our groups and outreach program serve and support people of all ages and abilities.
Autism Serves - This is a volunteering program of Autism Empowerment which emphasizes service learning for youth and adults in the autism community. Our youth division is called Autism Serves Kids Care Club and serves children and teens on the autism spectrum and their families. We emphasize that each of us are unique and have strengths and gifts to share. We promote volunteering experiences online and regionally that allow opportunities for Kids Care Club members to gain life skills, information and experience with issue areas including Disability Rights, Literacy, Hunger, Animals, Poverty, Homelessness, Veterans, Senior / Elder Care, Bullying Prevention, Autism & Disability Acceptance, Kindness, Environment, Employment, Mental Health and Suicide Prevention. We partner with a wide range of nonprofit organizations, business and groups locally and nationwide.
