To engage communities in conserving, caring for, and accessing the natural lands and waters that sustain North Central Washington.
Land and open space: Chelan-Douglas Land Trust (CDLT) acquires land and easements for conservation purposes. CDLT has primarily protected nearly 15,000 acres of our region's most important natural areas, primarily in Chelan and Douglas counties.
Outreach: CDLT offers a variety of opportunities to learn more about the land we help conserve and why it's worth protecting. Together with partner organizations, CDLT offers family programs, educational hikes and outings, environmental films and more.
Stewardship: Taking care of the lands and conservation easements entrusted to CDLT is our most fundamental responsibility. CDLT owns and manages some of our region's most important natural areas and also holds conservation easements. CDLT takes our responsibility seriously and strives to protect and maintain the conservation values and natural character of our precious lands.
