Academy Northwest serves as a private school and homeschool extension. Services include professional consultation to parents, certified instruction to students and opportunities for students to participate in special events. The education received by students from Academy Northwest has resulted in many scholarships and acceptances into universities and military academies. Also, the support and individualized help that children with learning disabilities receive from Academy Northwest has allowed many of them to rejoin public school programs with more success than prior to their Academy Northwest education.
Academy Northwest provides teacher training programs. All of the programs provide clock hours for teachers to keep their certificates current. These training programs cover a variety of relevant topics that teachers are interested in learning more about. They also include new teacher orientation training to help new teachers adapt to the unique teaching styles that make Academy Northwest effective.
Academy Northwest provides a bookstore where teachers and parents have access to excellent homeschooling and teaching resources that are needed to successfully provide education to their students and children.
