TO EMPOWER YOUTH WHO ARE HOMELESS TO REACH THEIR FULL POTENTIAL.
MEETING BASIC NEEDS FOR FOOD, PERSONAL HYGIENE, CLOTHING, TRANSPORTATION, AND MEDICAL SERVICES AND ADDICTION TREATMENT REFERRALS. DURING 2019, WE SERVED 427 UNDUPLICATED YOUTH AND YOUNG ADULTS WHO VISITED THE RESOURCE CENTER 7,230 TIMES. WE SERVED 4,385 MEALS. CLIENTS ACCESSED AT LEAST 1,665 BAGS OF FOOD FROM THE FOOD PANTRY, VISITED THE CLOTHING ROOM 2,412 TIMES, TOOK 738 SHOWERS, AND VISITED TO DO LAUNDRY 402 TIMES. VOLUNTEERS CONTRIBUTED 4,896 DOCUMENTED HOURS.
ASSESSMENT, INTAKE, CASE MANAGEMENT FOR YOUTH. CONNECTING YOUTH WITH SCHOOLS AND GED PROGRAMS. EMPLOYMENT SEARCH AND JOB COACHING TO CONNECTYOUTH TO EMPLOYMENT SOURCES AND OPPORTUNITIES. DURING 2019, WE HELPED 19 INDIVIDUALS REPLACE IDENTIFYING DOCUMENTS INCLUDING STATE ID, BIRTH CERTIFICATES, AND SOCIAL SECURITY CARDS. WE ASSISTED 45 YOUTH TO EMPLOYMENT. WE PROVIDED CLOTHING, WORK-SPECIFIC SHOES, OR OTHER EMPLOYMENT RELATED ITEMS TO 37 CLIENTS. 44 YOUNG PEOPLE BECAME HOUSED THROUGH OTHER PROGRAMS, FAMILY REUNIFICATION OR THEIR OWN RENTALS. 46 COMPLETED A SELF-IDENTIFIED EDUCATION ACHIEVEMENT. 135 INDIVIDUALS WERE ASSESSED FOR HOMELESS SUPPORTIVE HOUSING PROGRAMS THROUGH COORDINATED ENTRY.
