THE ORGANIZATION OFFERS A WIDE RANGE OF BOATING INSTRUCTION AND WATER SAFETY COURSES AND HOSTS A VARIETY OF BOATING EVENTS. THE MISSION OF THE ORGANIZATION IS TO PROVIDE SAFE, ENRICHING, AFFORDABLE AND ACCESSIBLE SAILING AND NON-MOTORIZED WATERSPORTS OPPORTUNITIES TO LOCAL RESIDENTS AND VISITORS, INCLUDING YOUTH, SENIORS AND THE DISABLED. THE ORGANIZATION IS COMMITTED TO PROVIDING A PHYSICALLY AND EMOTIONALLY SAFE ENVIRONMENT FOR ALL MEMBERS AND VISITORS. WE BELIEVE AND FOLLOW THE PRINCIPLE OF INCLUSION. WE PROMOTE THE DEVELOPMENT OF TRUE SPORTSMANSHIP. CLEARWATER COMMUNITY SAILING CENTER CONTINUES, THROUGH ITS DIVERSE PROGRAMS, TO CREATE SAILING AND WATER SPORT OPPORTUNITIES TO ALL IN THE COMMUNITY. THE CENTER IS THE BASE FOR PROGRAMS SUCH AS SAILABILITY, A PROGRAM DESIGNED FOR OUR SAILORS WITH PHYSICAL CHALLENGES, HEALTH ISSUES, AS WELL AS MANY ASSOCIATED WITH THE VETERAN'S ADMINISTRATION PROGRAMS. FISCAL YEAR 2020 PROGRAM PARTICIPANTS INCLUDE:450 COMMUNITY PARTICIPANTS (YOGA, WATERCOLOR, AND SAILABILITY)2,000 MEMBERSHIP PROGRAM PARTICIPANTS (ANNUAL FAMILY, INDIVIDUAL, PADDLERS, YOUTH, AND DAILY)200 REGATTA PROGRAM PARTICIPANTS120 ADULT LEARN TO SAIL PARTICIPANTS570 YOUTH SAILING INSTRUCTION PARTICIPANTS (40 TEAM AND 530 SUMMER CAMP).
