Our organization exists to bring about awareness and raise funds for education of the medical community, healthcare professionals, and the general population about Dysautonomia (dysfunction of the Autonomic [Involuntary] Nervous System).
TDP 2020 Accomplishments Spring * UT nursing education - educated 10 advanced nursing students at the University of Tampa * FOMA annual conference - handed out approx. 150 books to attending participants/doctors * Pi Day 5K fundraiser - raised approx. $35,012 and continued to spread awareness to hundreds of participants in the Tampa Bay area and beyond. Summer * 615 newsletter - distributed 5,665 newsletters and received $12,121 in donations * UT nursing education - educated 10 advanced nursing students at the University of Tampa * TDP website relaunch * AAS education portal launch Fall * Donor appreciation - received $9,500 in donations * UT nursing education - educated 7 advanced nursing students at the University of Tampa * Bogo book promotion - distributed 144 books * Free book promotion for Healthcare Professionals - distributed approx. 400 books to HCPs across the country. Winter * End of Year appeal - received $25,950 in donations
